o.O The newborn is now just shy of being a 9 month old, and as a follow up, I'm 5 months pregnant with the second one! A bit shocking, and of course, cause for slowing down.
I will be attending Animazement in North Carolina at the end of May (Which is fabulous, since I get to stay with my ultra awesome former roomie, who is an incredibly amazing found objects artist herself!) and then my last show of the year will be Otakon, in Baltimore.
We're expecting a Halloween baby, so after the show in August, we'll be keeping it quiet, and I'll be staying close to home, creating new art. REALLY new art. I'm very excited for it.
Also, networking is amazing. Come to find out that my neighbor is the current Illustrator for the Conan Comic. Finding that out at our first barbecue of the season was pretty nifty. I'm always excited to find more artists hiding in the rafters.
But yes. Will be taking a small mental holiday to re-evaluate where I want to go with my sketchbooks, with my illustration, and with my found objects. I need to go thrift shopping more often.
